PSX Technical Analysis is a web-based platform that provides data-driven Buy/Sell signals, technical indicator analysis, sector analysis, and portfolio tracking for stocks listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). It uses historical end-of-day market data to calculate signals and help investors make more informed decisions.

Signals are generated by blending multiple technical indicators with AI algorithms to predict the best outcome. The algorithm and its parameters are reviewed weekly to get the most up to date trend.
Signals are updated once per trading day after market close, typically between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM PKT on weekdays.
Signal strength is a blended score from 0 to 100. Values near 100 indicate strong oversold/overbought conditions accordingly based on type of signal.
No. Technical signals are probabilistic tools, not certainties. Markets can and do move against any signal. Always use signals as one input among many, not as the sole basis for a trading decision.
Yes. The Signal Backtesting page allows you to run a backtest for any symbol over a 1, 2, or 3 year period (depending on your plan). The backtest uses historical Buy/Sell signals and to maintain a realistic and conservative execution model, the system follows a “first-signal” logic.
A symbol may show no signal if the algorithm did not find suitable positions, or if it has insufficient price history (fewer trading days than required for the indicator warm-up period), was recently listed, or was suspended from trading.
Add your holdings (symbol, quantity, buy price, purchase date) to track your portfolio value in real time during market hours. The platform uses intraday price snapshots to show live valuations and calculates unrealised profit/loss against your average buy price.
During market hours, the platform uses the most recent intraday price snapshot. Outside market hours, it uses the last end-of-day closing price.
Yes. If you buy the same stock at different prices, each purchase is recorded separately and the platform calculates a weighted average cost basis.
Adding or Removing cash is a virtual transaction as part of portfolio tracking. Use the Add Cash and Withdraw Cash buttons in the Portfolio section. Cash transactions are recorded in your transaction history.
